IrisVision is the next generation of low vision aids, and it is recognized by the FDA as a Class 1 medical device. IrisVision combines the technological power of Samsung's latest virtual reality headset with the custom software created by low vision pioneer, MIT graduate, Guggenheim fellow, and professor at UC Berkeley, Dr. Frank Werblin.
"IrisVision Offers the solutions of multiple different low vision aids, such as digital stand magnifiers, low vision telescopes, and handheld magnifiers in one portable and affordable package. "
IrisVision Combines multiple modes and capabilities to provide the solutions patients with Macular Degeneration and other low vision diseases require.
Biotpic Telescope Mode:
The bioptic telescope mode allows the wearer to see highly magnified images without losing the context of things around them. This is ideal for walking and shopping, where magnification may be needed to see products or signs, but the wearer still needs to keep their bearing.
Text Reading Mode:
The Text mode offers many different options both in the field of view, magnification, and contrast to allow each reader a more customized experience. The text reader mode is an ideal replacement for handheld magnifiers and stand CCTV as well as telescope glasses used for reading.
IrisVision has been developed by experts in the field to provide the most sophisticated low vision device available. To that end there are many settings that are available to provide a more custom approach to low vision aids. IrisVision provides the the widest field of view, adjustable contrast, adjustable brightness, adjustable sizing/IPD, adjustable bubble mode/bioptic mode, and adjustable reading mode.

What Our Patients Say About IrisVision
Good afternoon- my name is Casey and my son, Tyler is 15 years old. He is currently losing his vision due to Mitochondrial Disorder. We met with our low vision doctor who demonstrated your IrisVision device to us. My son tried it and the first thing he said when he put it on was “I can see Mom”. These were words I had been waiting to hear! We spent 2 days learning all the device has to offer and as a mother, I had to write to you to say thank you! Thank you for creating a device that will give my son the opportunity to see things and enjoy life. We ordered a device and can not wait for it to arrive so Tyler’s life can truly be changed! This device allows him to be a normal teenager again and have the ability to play video games, watch sporting events and excel in school! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
