I see a lot of patients, each day. Every once in a while, one stands out (actually every patient stands out, but you get my meaning). I saw a patient a few days ago, and when I was finished adjusting his glasses which he had just picked up, he turned what had been a bad day for me, into a great one. He shook my hand and said, “You just made my day. How does it feel to completely make someone’s day?” One word – awesome.
